‘Ville 94
'Ville 94 is more than just a collection—it’s a tribute to where our story began.
The name honors the 1994 Marysville Monarchs football team, the season when my dad and my Uncle Steve, better known as “Bone,” had the opportunity to play together during my dad’s senior year. Known as the “Fighting 40” because the team had only 40 players, they proved that heart, commitment, and belief in one another mattered more than numbers.
Under the leadership of Coach Rich Weiskircher, the Monarch tradition was built on a standard of toughness, discipline, and believing in something bigger than yourself. He challenged his players to embody what it meant to be a Monarch, famously reminding them to play “48 Minutes of Tough, Hard-nosed, Aggressive, Monarch Football!!” That mindset became the identity of the program and shaped the way this team approached every challenge.
They played with grit, toughness, and an unwavering determination, even when others counted them out. That season, the Monarchs captured the OCC Championship by becoming the first Marysville team to beat Pickerington for the conference title. They remained the only Marysville team to beat Pickerington until 2021, when another Monarch team defeated Pickerington with three members of my own family on the roster: my brother Tanner and my cousins Gabe and Colton.
The 1994 team finished the season with an 8–2 record and earned just the second playoff appearance in school history during an era when only four teams from each region qualified. They lost to the defending State Champs 13-12.
But beyond the wins, the 1994 team built a legacy that continues today. They started the tradition of weekly team dinners—a tradition that remains a part of the Marysville football program to this day. Around those tables, they built more than a team; they built a brotherhood. They strengthened their commitment to one another and established a foundation rooted in faith, family, and Jesus Christ.
That team represented resilience, tradition, and hometown pride. Their impact continues through the players who went on to serve the Marysville community as head football coach, offensive coordinators, defensive coordinators, coaches, teachers, principals, administrators and even our current Superintendent. Their story is a reminder of the values that have been passed down through generations and what it truly means to be part of Monarch Nation.
Growing up, Marysville has always been home. From Friday night lights to cheering on our hometown teams, the sense of community here is something I will always cherish. As a 2025 Marysville High School graduate, some of my favorite memories were made under those stadium lights, surrounded by people who love this town just as much as I do.
When I started 2911 Faith, I knew I wanted to create more than apparel. I wanted to design pieces that celebrate the people, places, and traditions that have shaped me. 'Ville 94 is my way of giving back to the community I love by creating apparel that represents hometown pride, lasting traditions, and the memories that make Marysville special.
Whether you’ve called Marysville home your entire life or carry this town with you wherever you go, this collection is for those who are proud to be part of something bigger.
